Crans-Montana Youth Hostel

We had a room for the 4 of us, which turned out to be really quiet and sufficiently spacious to accommodate all of our luggage. The room was quite warm and we were able to ventilate quite a bit. Having a sink in the room was definitely a bonus. The beds were rather comfortable and the shared facilities were pretty clean in general. The breakfast was really good, with plenty of nice options to choose from. The hotel also provided a storage space for the skis and the luggage. Really friendly and helpful staff too :)

Interesting building history. Lovely views of the lake and the forest from the different terraces. Neat clean modern rooms, toilets and showers. Sink in room. Outlets and lights easy to reach. open armoires with a spot for luggage are handy. Breakfast was good. Dinner ok. Others staying were very friendly and interesting. Some were with their extended families; others with friends or solo. Staff very sweet and personable. Lift tickets well priced at reception. Buses are free. 1 minute stop to Télé cry. Angel’s does a nice job with tuneups. Migros is at the bus stop down the hill from the hostel. Final check out with credit card easy the night before.

Very cozy rooms with a balcony overlooking the mountains, friendly and helpful staff, cool art deco feel and not far from the bus and ski lifts. Great and healthy breakfast.

The location of the property is in good walking distance to a lot of places of interest in Crans-Montana. I had booked a bunk bed(6 in a room) because it was the only option available. But I was able to upgrade to a private room the next day from the property when a room became available. The room was clean and the view from my room which was on the second floor was amazing.

The Crans Montana Youth Hostel was a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was all freshly prepared and really tasty both at breakfast and the evening meals. The views from the balconied rooms were just stunning. Very sunny aspect too. Good to see the hosteling experience working so well for so many people of all ages and nationalities. Free bus service every twenty minutes to the main gondola stations from the main road below the hostel. Ski lockers and secure luggage lockers also readily accessible.
